Tournament Recap

The 2019 season has started with an event stuck somewhere between winter and spring, temperatures climbed to +8 on Sunday as the snow climbed over players boots. The event had thirteen players battling for the trophy including two from Dawson Creek, BC and two from Fort St John, BC. The one day event took place on a temporary course in Muskoseepi Park around the reservoir and pavilion. Players played two 14 hole rounds to determine who could score best in the sloppy wet conditions on an unfamiliar course. After 28 holes Mike Heckbert of Grande Prairie took the win by 4 strokes over Michael Curtiss, Josh Stokman and Tim Atchison from FSJ came 3rd and 4th.

With two rounds completed players headed to the pavilion to hand out the prestigious trophy and a lot of CTP hole prizes. Club members took advantage of this gathering to host their AGM and discuss the upcoming season, look out for that post and more coming up.
